We have all heard the saying
where there is no pain, there is no gain
And I am very certain
this saying has not been said in vain.
Our people have already suffered
a most devastating blow
And we've been threatened with others
but little do we know...
Where and when these cowardly acts
will cause us all more pain
But all is known by our Heavenly Father
as He observes His domain.
We must ask for His protection
against these angry foes
We must ask Him for forgiveness
as our heart overflows.
The emotions we are feeling
have us all perplexed
As we realize our world has changed
and our lives have become more complex.
He has never lost sight of us
it is we who moved away
From His gentle guiding hand
that is upon us every day.
So look to Him, He will help
to bring you peace within
He is our Heavenly Father
and will see us through
the thick and thin!
