It has not been free.
Others have given up their life
Just for you and me.
Freedom always has a price
And it is usually dear.
For those who love and sacrifice,
It is very clear.
Our Lord paid the dearest price
By giving up His life
So we may have freedom
From all sin and strife.
Today, just take a moment,
Sit back and contemplate
About the cost of freedom.
It is never too late.
