The winds of change are blowing
and I've been made aware
That the times they are a changing
and may be hard to bear.
Time seems to be spinning rapidly
and we wonder where it has gone.
Before we have spent quality time with Him
there appears a brand new dawn.
I want to step back and contemplate
to make my life more sane.
It takes a lot of effort to stop
and proceed down a different lane.
But the winds of change are calling,
"Come and walk with ME,"
And so I answer Him willingly,
for my choice is to be free.
I want to be free of all the obstacles
that rob my time with Him,
For when I spend time in His Presence
He fills my heart to the brim.
This in turn spills out to touch
all those He sends my way,
And we are all blessed by Him
as we travel on Heaven's highway.
