Joy for Your Ashes
God does not expect us to be sorrowful
but victorious in our life
He wants to bless us continually
but we have to give up the strife.
It is our own choices that bind us
and keep us away from the good
That God promised to those who love Him
if they only would ....
Make the commitment to Love Him
each and every brand new day
Ask Him to walk beside them
as they go along their way.
He likes nothing better, than to be
in fellowship with us
That is why He created us.
Our life with Him, He will discuss.
He tells us to focus on the good
for He created it all,
So that we may enjoy it
all we have to do is call,
Asking Him to join us
to lead, to guide, protect,
Our life will be victorious
as Him, we do reflect.
