LISTEN
Sometimes I can hear the music
of that celestial band
With everyone singing
there is laughter in that land.
See if you can hear it,
be as still as you can be.
Do you hear the lovely music
of Holy God to Thee?
It simply never ceases
and is such a joyous sound
With everyone rejoicing
and dancing doth abound.
Around the throne is brilliance
of w hich we have never seen
For we cannot behold HIM
our sense is not that keen.
Oh, but we can sense HIM
so easily with the heart,
With every single little beat,
Oh, GOD, how great THOU art!
Fill my life with music,
laughter and with tears
As I draw ever closer
to Thee throughout the years.
One day I, too, will be singing
joyfully around Your throne
When you call my name in Heaven
to Your arms I will be flown.
