As I sat and explored the mind today
I could not help but see
This wondrous gift God gave to us
for us to be all that we can be.
Do we use it to its full extent
or do we simply cast aside...
This useful and valuable gift He gave
that helps us to abide...
Upon this earth, this training ground
We make choices each new day
That bring us close to His side
or take us far away,
We have got to use this gift He gave
to help us understand
Just how much he loves us
and holds us by the hand.
There is no greater love than His,
how I wish I could abide
in this loving, peaceful state of mind
always by his side.
