As we think of the culmination of another year
and we celebrate His Birth
We are reminded that He came to us
to show us how to love and live on Earth.
His gifts to us are never ceasing
and given anew each day
And we have only to receive them
as we go on about our way.
O, but that we would only love Him
with all our body, heart, and soul
For He takes pleasure in our joy
and wants us to be completely whole.
As you scurry about, buying gifts for all
pause and reflect upon why He came
He certainly did not have to
and it has all been for our gain.
Celebrate His Birth in a special way
as only you can do
For that is what He would desire
and only asks of you.
