Independence is the cry
heard both far and wide.
But what does that truly mean
when in God we do abide?
No person is unto himself,
we are here because of His Grace.
We're to constantly look forward
until we see Jesus face to face .
So Independence Day to me
is a choice, I'm made to see,
That only by God's Good Grace
can independence even be!
