Spending time with You is the greatest joy
of which I could ever conceive
My thoughts and heart are lifted up
and into my life You weave...
Peace and Joy and Love in abundance
when my mind is stayed on Thee
O Lord, my heart is filled with gladness
as my life You oversee.
This world is filled with many things
to take our minds off of You
Our plans are made and we execute
without having asked of You!
We can't see the bigger picture
so often we don't know
There really was a better way
to have stayed in Your flow.
So Lord, Thank You, for Your forgiveness
as we start anew again
You send Your Spirit fresh each day
and help us once again.
How glorious it is to contemplate
that one day we will be
At home with You in Heaven
and be entirely free.
