Be Still and Know

Be Still and Know

LORD, as I sit with You in the stillness
I am so keenly aware
That You surround me with Your beauty
and I feel You in the air.
I feel Your comforting arms around me
and I feel so very content
I would like to sit here forever
for it is time well-spent.

In Your Presence there is fullness of life
and a never ending joy
That I can take into my day
and nothing can destroy.
Thank You for Your Grace and Love
that You impart each day
I have only to reach out to You
as I go on my way.

Keep Your Hand upon us Lord
as we face what You have sent
Knowing all will be for our good
always given by Your consent.
Those things we don't understand
those things that we must learn...
Lord, have mercy upon our soul
until, unto You we do return.

exalted among the nations, I will be exalted
in the earth."
