Sometimes life just gets me down
and I don't want to smile
I just don't think that I can
go that extra mile.
I talk to God and tell Him
what all is on my mind
It is the only thing that works
to get me out of a bind.
I start to slowly change my thoughts
for that is what creates...
My life in every moment
that is truly fate.
I alone determine
what I shall think about
So I will begin to think good thoughts
and not allow the doubt.
Thank You, Lord, for teaching me
how to live my life
For when I think about You
there is no more strife.

for all that You do send
