I have so often wondered
just what a child does see
When they look at you with wonder
and smile so beguilingly.
They trust you so completely
and seem to have no fear
As they hold their arms up to you
and snuggle so very near.
Your heart can't help but be affected
as love comes shining through
To hold you within its grasp
with something so very true.
I believe it's what God talks about
when he asks us to become
More childlike in our endeavors
and always to Him come...
With anything that bothers us
our arms open wide
So we can snuggle up to Him
and in His love abide.
So take the time to look today
at what He has prepared
For those who truly love Him
He is always there.
